Registration Information

1.  Registration is from noon-4:00pm in the lobby of Burke Hall (http://tour.ua.edu/tourstops/burke.html).  You should be able to find the address on the website).

2.  If you do not arrive by 4:00pm I will have your key in the Moody Music Building at the dinner/opening meeting at 5pm.  Here is the link to Moody (http://tour.ua.edu/tourstops/moody.html). Again, you should be able to find the building on the interactive campus map.  810 2nd Ave. Tuscaoosa, AL  35478

3.  Parking - if you are driving you will receive a free parking pass that will allow you to park your car in the Moody Music Building lot for the entire Seminar.  This is a short walk from the dorms.

4.  Meals - we will have a large list of area restaurants for you at registration.  Breakfast will be a bit of an issue because of the summer hours of the campus meal services.  Each room will have a mini fridge and there is a Publix close to campus.  I might recommend making a run to stock up on some breakfast stuff to save you time in the morning.  There will be many cars at the seminar and all of my students will have cars as well.  It should be very easy for everyone to get around town and get to meals, etc.  The Ferguson Student Center is open and has many eating options and a Starbucks….it is not too far of a walk but it is the opposite direction from Moody.  If you plan ahead in the morning…it will be easy to get there and back.  There is also an Arby's right by Moody that serves breakfast as well as a couple gas stations.

5.  You will need your horns when you come to the dinner/meeting at 5:00pm.

Feel free to contact me with any questions!

See you soon!
